Babies
*I no longer offer studio services at the moment. I am an outdoor photographer only until further notice. In warmer weather outdoor shoots are acceptable for newborns. Maternity is also fine with outdoor shoots and even more interesting and eye appealing.
I am very accomodating when it comes to babies. If you are requiring a newborn shoot, it is recommended that the baby be 14 days old or less. This is when they are usually the most sleepy and also they change so quickly, so you'll want to capture your baby as fresh as possible. I have 6 children myself, so I know all about how tricky photo shoots can be. It will be done in a stress free environment. Feel free to take breaks to change or feed your baby or even just to cuddle.
For older babies, I know how squirmy they get and how they love to be on the go. I try to know exactly what you're looking for before we begin, and that way things can move along quickly. I also bring attention getters such as bubbles etc. We can put your baby in an environment you choose and let your baby do what babies do best, be cute!! I try to keep a no pressure approach, so it's not a painful experience :)
Maternity
My style of maternity is tasteful. I don't do any type of nude portraiture for these, only the baby belly. Portraits can be taken at any time during your pregnancy but the last trimester is ideal as this is the time you are most pregnant looking. I do on location maternity shoots as well as studio.
